There is a full install and control guide on the homepage, with photos and a walkthrough video. The short version is below.

Fit and installation

Will it fit my car?

The lens face is 3 inches and seats into a projector or fog light opening. The body behind it is 6.5 cm deep and 7.8 cm tall including the mounting feet, so take a tape measure to the car: you need a round opening about 3 inches across with 6.5 cm of clear space behind it. A radiator support, a washer bottle or a bracket right behind the hole is the usual dealbreaker. If yours turns out to be an exception, that is exactly what the 30-day fit guarantee is for.

Is this a headlight?

No, and we would rather say it up front. There is no low beam and no high beam in this lens. It is a visual module that installs alongside your existing lighting and does not replace it.

How hard is the install, honestly?

It depends entirely on where you put it. The fog light opening in the bumper is the easy route: it is already a round hole with screw ears, and most people are done in well under an hour.

Inside a sealed headlight is a different job. The headlight has to come off the car and go in an oven at low heat for ten to fifteen minutes so the butyl seal softens and the cover lifts off, then you mount the lens, feed the wire out and reseal. Budget two to three hours if you have done it before, or $100 to $200 at a retrofit shop if you have not.

How does it wire in?

Two wires: red to plus, black to minus, on a stable 9 to 24V supply. Make the connections with the power off, then switch on. Most people tap the parking lights so the eyes wake up with their lights; an ignition-switched 12V feed or a toggle switch on the dash both work too. Add an inline 2A fuse. Do not tap the high beam.

Can I drive with it on?

Rules for animated and colored lighting vary by state, and some of it is show-use only. Check your local rules before you run it on public roads. Nothing stops you from switching it on at a meet, a shoot or in your own driveway.

Using it

Do I need an app?

No, and there is nothing to download. The lens broadcasts its own WiFi network called EYES_ followed by its serial number. Join it from your phone, open http://192.168.4.1 in whatever browser you already have, and the control page loads. No account, no login.

My phone says the network has no internet

It does not, and that is normal. Stay connected anyway. This is the single most common reason people think the lens is faulty: the phone quietly drops back to cellular because there is nothing to reach on that network. On iPhone, turn Cellular Data off for a minute. On Android, turn off "switch to mobile data automatically" in the WiFi settings.

The control page will not open

Type http://192.168.4.1 with the http:// in front. Without it most browsers try HTTPS, get nothing back, and hand you a page of search results instead.

Can I really upload anything?

Any JPG or GIF at 240 by 240 pixels, up to 1MB. Logos, handles, symbols, animated loops. At that size, bold and high contrast reads well and fine detail does not, so think sticker rather than photograph.

Do the two eyes match?

Yes. The pair arrives matched, already running the same eye, so you can fit them and drive. When you want to change the look you set one lens and then the other - each lens is its own device with its own EYES_ network, and the control page talks to one at a time. It takes about a minute for both.

Rain and car washes?

Both are fine. Do not submerge it. Rated from -10C to 65C.

Orders, shipping and warranty

Where does it ship from?

From our warehouse in the United States, not from overseas. That is why the delivery window is days rather than weeks.

How fast do you ship?

Orders leave within 1 business day. Delivery is 3 to 5 business days with tracking, and shipping is free. The product page shows the actual dates for the day you are looking at it.

What if it stops working?

Every lens carries a 6-month warranty from the day it arrives. If it fails on its own in that time, send us a short video of what it is doing and we replace it free.

The warranty covers the lens failing by itself. It does not cover damage from wiring it wrong, physical damage, or submerging it. It is separate from the 30-day fit guarantee, which covers the lens not fitting your car at all.

What if it does not fit or I change my mind?

You have 30 days. If it does not fit your car we refund you and cover the return shipping. See the refund policy for the full details.
